Moving a small business website from shared hosting to VPS
I'm considering moving a small business website from shared hosting to a VPS. The website itself is fairly lightweight, but it has a CRM integration, several API connections, and some custom scripts that run throughout the day.
I'd like to have full control over the server configuration and avoid the limitations of shared hosting. A 2–4 vCPU VPS with 4–8 GB RAM and NVMe storage should probably be enough.
My budget is around $20–30 per month. HostPro.com is one of the options I've found so far. Would you choose a smaller VPS and upgrade later, or is it better to start with 4 vCPU and 8 GB RAM to leave some room for growth?
